Make sure to get triple room with a redecoration, coffee, for example. The location is easy, 4 km from The Castle.

Impeccably clean property with pleasant and exceptionally nice stuff. A good choice of goodies for breakfast. Easy to get to, convenient and handy location just next door to Newcastle, Durham itself and shops....

The hotel is straightforward - cheap rooms and comfy beds. The staff are all helpful. There is restaurant Costa Coffee at the premises...
There's bad smell in some areas.

Friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful
Whilst I appreciate that a majority of clients arrive by car, your staff found it difficult to obtain a taxi for me on weekdays due to local school contracts. Would therefore suggest securing an agreement with a local taxi company.

Upon arrival, the member of staff that was on duty at that time, was very helpful. The location was ideal for us to get to Newcastle upon tyne, for the Great North Run. Lots of parking spaces
The voucher that were being sold by Days Inn, for the restaurant " £10.00 worth of food for £7.50"......They should stop selling these vouchers, they are be no means great value! In fact eating at any Motorway services are not good value.

The Walk-In wifi is good for local travellers with local phone numbers but for tourists who are from out of country is not much use since a local number needs to be provided. Either provide Wifi 'truly' free or have the gimmick of a contact number be removed. Problem even from a spam perspective or id theft/misuse. Management should truly evaluate.

The hotel's accessibility features were a blessing. Bright, cheerful decor and spacious areas gave it a lovely inviting feel, almost like a cozy family living room!
